Class 1 Forklifts

Electric Motor, Rider Counter-Balanced Trucks (solid and pneumatic tires)

Electric Motor Rider Counter-Balanced Trucks

Class: 1
Fuel Type: Electric
Use: These trucks are powered by an electric motor. The operator may sit or stand when operating the vehicle. One group of Class 1 trucks are counter-balanced models that have a large weight in the rear designed to counterbalance the weight of the loads. Other sub-groups are defined by the number of tires (3 or 4) or the type of tires. Cushion tires are used indoors on smooth, level surfaces. Pneumatic tires are useful outdoors and on rougher terrain. Electric trucks are desirable for enclosed areas when fuel fumes cause difficulties. Common examples are the stand up rider or the electric-powered versions of the sit down rider.JTVCZmMlMjBpZCUzRCUyNzE0JTI3JTIwYWxpZ24lM0QlMjdjZW50ZXIlMjclNUQlNUIlMkZmYyU1RA==

Steel / Metal Foundries

Safety and durability are of upmost importance in foundry applications. We have forklifts designed to shine in steel and metal industries.

Foundries

Foundries are tough on forklifts as the metal processing environments are extreme. You’ve got piping hot metal that needs transported in and out of furnaces, presses and molds and it isn’t going to get there on its own.

The foundry process is widely distributed in the manufacturing industry. Toyota’s rugged and dependable lineup of IC forklifts and heat protection options can handle both the heat and the heavy lifting to get the job done. In the foundry process, the high temperature liquid metal transport often needs to be completed by a forklift truck. It is the first responsibility of every company to protect the personnel and equipment under the foundry condition.

Linde has a long history of research on foundry conditions, and has provided professional forklift protection solutions for global customers of manufacturing industry. According to radiation temperature and environment dust, different protection solutions are designed by Linde for 5 different grades, which can reduce the cost of protection while meeting working conditions. To guarantee safety production with professional technology is the design idea of Linde.

Operating forklifts in cold storage facilities presents several challenges that can limit the success of operators and companies. Efficiencies in forklift use become even more challenging when a forklift is placed in alternate temperature environments in the same operation, whether for storage or operation. To make sure you have the best facility design and forklifts for your workplace and application, you should talk to a consultant familiar with your industry generally and your operation specifically to help fill gaps, enhance safety, and increase efficiencies.

One of the most important tasks that face cold room forklift users is the need to reduce condensation on a forklift while in warm temperatures, helping to prevent freezing when re-entering frigid spaces. Freezing can cause inefficient operation and downtime for the forklifts, resulting in lost throughput for the cold operations. A few best practices can help to prevent these inefficiencies, providing [...]
